Investigators will today begin examining the cause of a suspicious fire that gutted an Auckland plant nursery last night.
The fire began at Gordon's Nurseries on Scenic Drive in Henderson at 11.40pm, and 12 fire crews took about 90 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
Senior Sergeant Ian Byrne of Henderson police said the building was gutted by the fire.
The site was under police guard overnight and officers would today begin a scene investigation to establish how the fire started.
