An Air NZ ATR plane with 40 people on board landed safely at Christchurch Airport yesterday morning after an alert over its landing gear following takeoff from Rotorua.
A ground crew member heard a strange noise as it took off from Rotorua. The pilots circled for the undercarriage to be inspected before landing at 11.15am.
