Pit accident at Feilding race track kills one, injures seven

An accident in the pits at the Manfeild motor racing track in Feilding has killed one person and injured seven others, police say.

The injured people have been taken to Palmerston North Hospital, Inspector Kristy Meates of the police central communications centre said.

Emergency services are currently at the scene and no further details were immediately available.
