Possible unsafe levels of lead have led to the voluntary recall of Pirates of the Caribbean medallion squeeze light toys, Energizer NZ said today.
Unsafe levels of lead in the leather strap attached to the medallion had been identified in some toys.
The company said there had been no reports of any illness or injury caused by the toys, which were being recalled as a precautionary measure.
Customers should return the toys, sold nationally between April and October this year, to the store they were bought from for a refund, Energizer NZ said.
