There will be spot prizes for the best dressed and oldest bears, as well as prizes for the best decorated children's bike which will be judged at 1.30pm.
A giant teddy bear, which has been donated by a club member, will also be auctioned.
Mrs Green said there were people who frequently used the trail for exercise, and she hoped they might join in and donate to the cause.
She said the picnic will be held about 1km to 2km down the trail in the picnic area.
There will be sausage sizzle and ice cream available for those who don't bring their own picnic.
The picnic will be held from 11am to 2pm and the entrance is at the end of Cotter St.
Entry is $2 per adult and $1 per child, and dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
The event will be cancelled if the weather is wet.
