This week's petrol price drop proved to be shortlived with all four major oil companies raising petrol prices by 4c yesterday.
Shell was the last company to follow suit yesterday afternoon, matching BP, Mobil and Caltex prices at 170.9c a litre for unleaded and 175.9c for super.
