KEY POINTS:
New Zealand's four big oil suppliers have lifted petrol prices by 3c a litre and diesel by 5c, although industry minnow Gull Petroleum says it won't follow them until at least Monday.
Shell and Mobil raised their prices yesterday, following BP and Caltex to records of 185.9c a litre for 91-octane petrol and 151.9c for diesel. Super-charged 98-octane petrol sold by BP and Mobil has risen to 199.9c a litre. Gull said it would hold its prices down over the weekend.
