Fuel prices jumped by up to five cents today - the fourth rise in less than a month.
Petrol prices rose three cents, to just under 171 cents per litre (170.9c) for 91, while premium reached 175.9c at BP, Caltex, Mobil and Shell.
Diesel prices hit a high of 127.9c - a rise of five cents a litre.
Fuel companies, which say they are continuing to absorb the worst of the price increases on the volatile international market, previously raised prices on April 18, 11 and 3.
