The price of petrol and diesel at BP's pumps dropped by 4 cents a litre this morning.
BP managing director Mike McGuinness said the drop came on the back of a stronger US/NZ exchange rate and a fall in the international cost of refined fuels.
The falls saw unleaded 91 octane now at $1.58.9 per litre and 99.9c a litre for diesel.
