Petrol prices have risen at some BP and Caltex stations while the other companies held firm today.
Both raised 91 octane fuel by three cents a litre and diesel by two cents, TV3 reported.
A Caltex spokeswoman told NZPA its recommended price had not gone up, but some individual retailers had lifted their prices.
Pricing was at the discretion of individual service stations.
A Gull spokesman said they would review prices tomorrow.
