Petrol price falls another 5c

Petrol prices have fallen by 5c for the second time in three days.

Shell and BP have both this afternoon announced cuts to $1.669 a litre for 91 octane and $1.719 for 95 octane.

Caltex and Mobil have yet to announce whether they will follow.

All four main suppliers cut their price by 5c on Tuesday.

Diesel remains at $1.249 after a price cut a fortnight ago.
