Petrol prices have dropped 5 cents, with Shell leading the charge.
From 8am today, 91 and 95 octane petrol at Shell stations dropped 5 cents, making the cost per litre 166.9c and 171.9c respectively.
Shell spokeswoman Kylie Reeves said the price drop reflected a decrease in the cost of refined product.
