KEY POINTS:
Despite several weeks of blistering criticisms of National, New Zealand First leader Winston Peters says his party could work with them after the next election.
Last month, Mr Peters attacked National Party deputy leader Bill English for suggesting selling 20 per cent of state-owned enterprises to provide investment opportunities, calling him "the Manchurian candidate acting on instructions from the puppet masters".
On TV One's Agenda yesterday, Mr Peters said he could work as a foreign minister under National if its policy was adjusted.
