KEY POINTS:
A Spencer Trust donation has been declared by New Zealand First leader Winston Peters on his amended pecuniary interest declaration.
Mr Peters was ordered to file fresh returns after Parliament endorsed the findings of the Privileges Committee last week.
Now disclosed is a cash donation in 2007 from the Spencer Trust made towards a costs order in the Tauranga electoral petition case.
On the basis of evidence given by the Serious Fraud Office, and subsequent changed statements by Mr Peters, the amount of the donation is understood to be $40,000.
Mr Peters had previously filed an amended pecuniary interest declaration for 2006 disclosing the $100,000 gift from businessman Owen Glenn.
