A recall has been announced of two of New Zealand's best-known pet foods.
Mars New Zealand Petfood spokeswoman Mary Sutherland is asking people who have bought Pedigree and Optimum dog rolls with "best before" dates between the 16th and 19th of October to take them back.
She says the products may be contaminated with metal fragments.
Mars New Zealand has set up an 0800 number for people with any concerns about the products - it is 0800 440 111.
Inquiries by our newsroom have found the recalled pet food is still on sale at some outlets.
