Perth death

A New Zealand teenager was killed after being hit by a car while crossing a road in Perth yesterday morning.

The unnamed 19-year-old was walking at about 1am when he was struck by the car.

Inspector Trevor Davis said paramedics tried unsuccessfully to revive him.

The young man had recently moved to Australia.
