Firefighters are working to remove a person trapped in a car after it crashed into a house in Napier this evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident on Geddis Avenue at 10.35pm.
The car hit a gas main at the house, causing it to burst, a fire communications spokeswoman said.
Police, fire and ambulance services are at the scene.
A police spokesman said there were four people in the car.
