A person has minor injuries after a car went into the water in the Far North on Thursday.
The crash happened during stormy conditions powered by ex-tropical cyclone Fehi.
Police said the sole occupant was trapped in the car, which had gone in to the water on Paihia Road at 8.53pm on Thursday.
