One person has been injured in a caravan fire just before dawn.
Northern Fire Communications' shift manager Scott Osmond said the person suffered smoke inhalation in the caravan fire on Cobham St, in the West Auckland suburb of Kelston.
The caravan had been severely damaged, and a nearby house also damaged, but the fire was under control, Osmond said.
Four fire appliances from Glen Eden, Henderson and Te Atatu were sent to help when emergency services were alerted at 5.55am.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
