A person has suffered burns from an incident with a gas bottle.
The burns were to an arm, a spokesman for the Fire and Emergency service said.
Ambulance officers attended to the person's burns, the cause of which "may have been a gas bottle incident".
No further information was available.
The incident happened soon after 4pm at Massey in West Auckland.
