A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car on Victoria Street in central Auckland.
Police were at the scene at 6.50am speaking to witnesses after the crash happened near the intersection with Albert Street.
The person suffered serious injuries in the crash, police said, and has been taken to Auckland Hospital by ambulance.
