One person was stabbed in the early hours of the morning in south Auckland.
Emergency services - including four ambulances and more than 10 police vehicles - were called to Goh Place, Manurewa, just after 3.40am.
It is understood an arrest was made a short time later, but police would not confirm.
The victim was taken to Middlemore Hospital with minor injuries, St John Ambulance said.
Police shift inspector Cornell Klussein said he understood it was a minor domestic incident where a person was "nicked" with a knife.
