A person has suffered serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash in the Auckland suburb of Epsom this evening.
Police responded to the crash on Great South Rd about 8.15pm.
A photographer at the scene said a motorcycle had struck the rear end of a vehicle.
“It happened between Erin St and Ngaire Ave and one person is seriously injured,” a police spokesperson said.
The Auckland Serious Crash unit also attended.
The section of Great South Rd was earlier closed and motorists advised to take alternative routes, but it has since reopened.
