One person was injured when a microlight crashed near Whangarei in Northland this morning.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash in a paddock in Otaika about 11.10am.
One person is being treated for moderate injuries.
A neighbour told the Herald there is a private runway in the area but wasn't aware of the incident.
