A person has died after a crash south of Auckland.
A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the single motor vehicle incident on Great South Rd in Drury shortly before 11am.
The road was now partially open but traffic was slow moving. Delays were expected and motorists were asked to avoid the area if they could.
The Serious Crash Unit was in attendance.
