A person has died following a “water-related incident” at a South Auckland property on Wednesday evening.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Ascot Road in Māngere shortly after 6pm on Wednesday evening.
There were attempts to resuscitate them, a police spokesperson said, however, they were unable to be revived.
The death will be referred to the coroner, the spokesperson said.
