A person has had to be cut free from their vehicle after a two-car crash near Putaruru.
Northern fire communications shift manager Jaron Phillips said the crash happened on Whites Rd, Tapapa, at 6.45am today.
The person was in a serious condition and firefighters used the jaws of life in
the rescue.
Another motorist suffered minor injuries.
Meanwhile, a car has rolled at Whatawhata, near Hamilton.
