A person is in a critical condition in hospital after a serious crash in South Auckland this afternoon.
According to police, a car hit the centre median barrier on Cavendish Drive in Wiri about 2.10pm.
One person has been taken to Middlemore Hospital, and Cavendish Drive is closed btween Nesdale Ave and Glasgow Ave.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area if possible.
