Person believed to have suffered serious burns at Auckland restaurant

Emergency services were last night called to a North Shore restaurant where a person is believed to have suffered serious burns. Witnesses told the Herald police cordoned off the driveway at Chilli on Hinemoa St in Birkenhead where a person had reportedly been badly burnt in the carpark at the back of the restaurant. "The Fire Service and ambulance staff are on scene. The driveway is cordoned off with police tape and ambo staff are down at the bottom of the drive."
