Police have arrested one person after reports of someone throwing petrol on or nearby a Papamoa home.
Police said officers were called to a home on Golden Sands Dr in Papamoa after reports of a person throwing petrol on to or near a house where there were lots of people.
A police spokeswoman said one person was taken into custody. The charges were unknown.
