Ken Callagher is the new station/sales manager for Prime Television in Hamilton. He has been in radio, television, newspapers and magazines, and has worked in an advertising agency. Mr Callagher has held senior positions with Smart Marketing and Primedia, and is a director of two local companies.
Dell Computer Ltd has promoted Richard Prowse to advanced systems group manager, New Zealand. He was southern regional advanced systems manager based in Wellington. Gerard Blokker has joined the company as executive account manager. He has been in corporate sales, most recently as relationship manager at Southmark Solutions.
Andrew Crisp has been appointed manager of Rapp Collins Interactive after working as a consultant to the company for the past 18 months. He has a background in Web-site design and production and in software development, and has owned his own multi-media companies in Auckland and India.
The role of the chief executive of Westpac Trust in New Zealand, Harry Price, has been expanded to include the bank's Pacific regional banking business, as part of a reshuffle of its Australian management. The new chief executive of Westpac, Dr David Morgan, says Mr Price's new role will enable the bank to put greater focus on capturing synergies between its retail banks in New Zealand and Australia.
Fujitsu has made Christopher Brice general manager of Fujitsu Southmark Services, based in Wellington. He was with Digital Equipment Corporation, most recently as Wellington general manager. Simon Parker has been appointed business development manager and Ross McKenna has become Net solutions manager.
Adrian Walker is the new general manager property for Progressive Enterprises Ltd. He has a property and management background, most recently with St Lukes Group.
Mike Gibbs-Harris has been appointed chief investment officer for Colonial First State Investment Managers (NZ) Ltd. He has had 20 years in international investment management in London, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Sydney. Mr Gibbs-Harris hold an MA in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University, and is a chartered financial analyst.
