Brierley manager rejoins Telecom
Brierley Investments' New Zealand investment manager, Graham Mitchell, is rejoining Telecom as general manager Xtra. He first joined the company in 1993 as head of corporate finance and was later appointed general manager of First Media before becoming general manager, switched and enhanced services in Telecom Network.
Garth Cowie has been appointed chief executive of the Port of Napier. He has been chief executive of South Port New Zealand Ltd at Bluff since 1994.
SYMANTEC has named Thom Bailey as Norton Ghost Product manager for New Zealand. He joined Symantec in the United States in 1995 after working in financial markets as a third party broker and dealer.
Alida Orzechowski is the new corporate account manager for the company in New Zealand. She joined Symantec in 1994 and has a background in customer relations. Both have recently moved to New Zealand from the company's US operations.
Tony Potter is the new sales and product manager for Danish pharmaceutical company, Lundbeck. Chris Deacon has become financial controller and administrator for the company.
The former CEO of Waitemata Health, Denis Snelgar, has joined international management consulting and executive education firm, JMW Consultants. He is the first New Zealander to join the firm.
Harold Corbett has become a senior consultant with Rotorua forestry consultants Chandler Fraser Keating. He was Northland district manager for Rayonier New Zealand.
