Grundfos Pumps has appointed Hugh Gallagher as general manager of its New Zealand operation. Mr Gallagher has been with the company for seven years and in 1996 transferred to Australia to become state manager of New South Wales. Earlier this year he was appointed manager - industry (Australia).
Vivienne Gurrey has replaced Geraldine McBride as SAP New Zealand managing director. She has had 20 years in IT, most recently as general manager of GEAC New Zealand and South Pacific general manager of sales, distribution and operations for GEAC Streamline. Ms McBride has taken up a new post in the United States.
Jane Stewart has become strategic planning director for Retail Media Group. She has an agency and TV background, with 12 years in advertising agencies, and came from TVNZ where she was group sales manager. She will market the group's B-Buys.com website.
Centra Auckland has named Natalia Robb as its food and beverage sales manager, replacing Terry Connell. Ms Robb was born in Italy and raised in Christchurch, and has a sales and marketing background with SouthPower, Research International, Bank Direct and Blue Star Office Products.
Leigh Jackson will head the fieldForce business group of internet integrator, gen-i Ltd, formerly Wang New Zealand. He has been in IT services for 23 years, the last 18 years with gen-i.
Dr Brett Collins has become associate professor in marketing at Auckland University of Technology. He has had 15 years' teaching experience at universities and educational institutions in New Zealand and Australia, and has also consulted to major organisations in new business development, business strategy, brand equity and customer value.
Greg Lee, an actuary based in Auckland with Aon Consulting New Zealand Limited, has been appointed a director of the company. He joined Aon in 1988 and helped establish its Wellington office in 1991. Mr Lee's main areas of expertise are in superannuation, asset consulting, Matrimonial Property Act valuations and long-term employee entitlement valuations for financial reporting purposes. He is a member of the Society of Actuaries investment sub-committee.
