Warren Hunt is joining Bayleys Property Management Ltd as general manager, commercial and industrial property management. He has a background in valuation and property management, and was management services manager for Jones Lang LaSalle Ltd. He will oversee Bayley's national commercial and industrial property management portfolio involving properties worth more than $500 million.

Tui Ruwhiu, Bruce Gatward-Cook, Mike Hennessy and Jeff Grobben have joined forces to form a new communications company, Fresh Media Ltd.

Lorraine Sivell has joined Ace Training Ltd as Auckland regional manager. She was with Telecom Yellow Pages.

Francis Little is the new international manager at the Auckland University of Technology. She has a BA in English, a diploma in teaching and a diploma in education management, and has a background in international marketing in South-east Asia, Scandinavia and northern Europe. She was international marketing manager at Unitec for five years.

Simone Burton has been promoted to national sales manager for Insight Data Ltd. She has a background in sales and marketing, and has been with the e-transaction and loyalty programme company for nearly three years. She has also worked for Drake International, TNT Express and Freightways.

The business manager at Mitsubishi, Dean Smith, is joining Volvo as national sales manager. He replaces Laurie Callender who is moving to New Plymouth to join a local Volvo service agent.

The former managing director of George Court & Sons Ltd, Dale Court, has become sales manager of Harvey's city commercial division in Parnell. He has been in real estate for the last 10 years, concentrating on the property investment market.

Michael Bradbury has been appointed professor of accounting in the department of accountancy, law and finance, at Unitec's faculty of business. He was professor of accounting at the University of Auckland. Professor Bradbury's specialty is the role of accounting information in the measurement of financial performance and value.
