Rob Moore is joining Woolworths (NZ) Ltd in the new position of retail operations manager covering its northern area. He will be responsible for 12 Woolworths, Big Fresh and Price Chopper supermarkets from the North Shore and West Auckland northwards. Mr Moore has been in the industry in Australia and Papua New Guinea and was with Dairy Farm International, the parent company of Woolworths (NZ) Ltd.

Epicor Software Corporation has made Sue Andrew-Johns business consultant for its relaunched New Zealand office.

Karen Dickson has joined Danka as regional service manager. She was national customer care manager with U-Bix.

Alex MacLeod and Rory Walker have joined Horner & Partners as consultants. Mr MacLeod has executive search and selection experience in Britain, while Mr Walker was heading the technical division of an Auckland-based executive search and selection agency.

Steven Cashmore has moved from the New Zealand sales office of Accor Asia Pacific to the regional office in Sydney where he is national inbound sales manager. He joined the company two years ago as sales manager inbound, managing the Japan and Asian markets for the company's New Zealand properties.

The senior audit manager of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dunedin, Phillip Trounson, has been elected president of the Chartered Institute of Corporate Management. For the first time in the institute's 63-year history, it has elected a woman as vice-president. She is Helen Wareham, who is the finance manager of Radio New Zealand in Wellington.

Melanie Birkby is the new corporate sales manager with the Sheraton Auckland Hotel & Towers. She was account manager at the Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh.

Hill & Knowlton has appointed John Boyd as managing director of its New Zealand operations. He is a former director and partner of Crossman Porter Novelli.

Charles Cooper has returned to the Auckland office of Colliers Jardine as a director, after three years as general manager of its Wellington office. He will be responsible for its industrial team, account management, broker training and business development.
