Angus Davidson is the new chief executive officer of the Pork Industry Board. He was executive officer operations with the Meat Industry Association. Mr Davidson replaces Brian Milne, who is setting up his own business consultancy in Wellington.

Paul McDowell-Hook is joining gen-i as chief financial officer. He was finance and IT director for Glaxo Wellcome Australia, and finance and business development director for Glaxo Wellcome NZ. Mr McDowell-Hook has also worked in the United States, Britain, Asia and Australia.

They are: James Craig, who has just returned from England where he undertook postgraduate study at Oxford University and worked for a large London law firm; Alicia Wright, who has worked in major law firms in London and Sydney; Jania Baigent, who has worked for a large London law firm; Ann Maddox, previously head of the public law team at the London Fire and Civil Defence Authority and the London Waste Regulation Authority; James Winchester, who worked in London advising on environmental issues in public works and urban regeneration projects; and Nicky Hall, Bill Gambrill and Vivien Wilson.

Trust Manukau, a registered charity which aims to attract private sector and philanthropic support for community development projects, has appointed Janice McArdle as its first chief executive officer. She has worked in senior public relations, marketing and fund-raising roles.

Metrowater has appointed Geoff Crummer as its new key accounts manager. Before joining Metrowater, Mr Crummer, who has a sales and marketing background, was a customer relations coordinator for Air New Zealand.
