Ken Pascoe is the new northern regional manager of Armourguard Security. He was general manager of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.

Karine Thomas is the new director of sales and marketing at Sheraton Auckland Hotel & Towers. She has a hotel and tourism background in Australia, the United States and Britain.

Sky City's new general manager sales is Kerry Rice. His responsibilities include Sky City Auckland, Adelaide Casino and Sky Alpine Queenstown Casino. Mr Rice held sales roles with Air New Zealand and Telecom New Zealand, and has IT experience with Orix and QED in the United States.

Michael Gerard has replaced Grant Alexander as general manager of BBR Design. Mr Alexander is now in the firm's Sydney office and is responsible for its Australian activities.

Jane Dodd is the new general manager of Network Communications' Auckland office. Sally Pain and Chris Lydon join the firm as account managers and Simone Bell as an account executive.

Gail Bennewith has become marketing manager for SAP New Zealand. She has had 10 years in IT marketing, and was with Geac Corporation.

Brown Woolley Graham has appointed two new partners to its business advisory services division. Janene Olson joined the firm in 1985, and Pam Newlove, who will head healthcare, joined in 1995.

Accountants Rosanna Baird and Kerry Walker have become partners in Staples Rodway in Hamilton. Ms Baird joined in 1994 and Ms Walker joined in 1993.

Gavin Leake has joined Arthur Andersen as managing partner assurance. Hilton Shuttleworth becomes national technical director, Frank van der Zwaag becomes risk manager assurance and Denise Bovaird is the new director of risk management services.

Margaret Nicholson and Anita Hollerer have joined Hyatt Regency as business development managers. Ms Nicholson has a tourism and airline background and Ms Hollerer has worked in the hotel industry here and overseas.
