People on the move: NZI announces accident insurance manager

New Zealand Insurance has named Don Addison-Saipe as manager, accident insurance. He replaces Karl Armstrong who is now director of product management for the company. Mr Addison-Saipe was with AON Risk Services Ltd where he helped to set up and manage WorkAON.

Charlotte Lee is the new group product manager for Englefield Bathroomware. She has had 12 years in marketing in building, engineering and greeting cards, and for the last 16 months has worked as an independent marketing consultant.

The Institute of Business Technology (IBT) has appointed Katherine Turner as southern regional manager. She joins IBT after three years with the Institute of Management central division where she managed customised training and development.

Brian Olorenshaw has joined Meadow Mushrooms as sales and marketing manager. He was marketing manager with Hollands Honey. Mr Olorenshaw replaces Miranda Burdon who has resigned to pursue other interests, but who will retain her directorship of the company.

Angela Royale is the new regional coordinator for Save the Children in Auckland. She is responsible for the organisation's five branches in the Auckland area and will assist and support in the coordination of its annual appeal and the development and execution of other fundraising activities.

She is a former communications manager of the Hyatt Regency and more recently was administration manager for Metashare International Ltd.

Gillian Smith is to join e-business consultants 3KB.COM as director responsible for marketing. She was with McLean Smith and Associates.

Sam Palmer has joined the commercial team of law firm Morrison Kent as a senior associate. Mr Palmer specialises in company and business law, banking and finance, and was previously in the banking and finance team at Simpson Grierson Law.

Gillian Reid has moved to QED Software Ltd as general manager, development. She was information services manager at Sky City Auckland Ltd and has also worked as head of development and head of computer studies at AIT.

She is deputy president and a fellow of the Computer Society and a fellow of the British Computer Society.

Richard Russell of Russell & McCall Ltd, Invercargill, is the new president of the Corporation of Insurance Brokers.

Garry Young, of Lambert Westrays Ltd in Auckland, and Colin Crombie, of Crombie Lockwood Ltd, Napier, are the new vice-presidents.
