Stephanie Boyce has joined e-Enterprises Software Group as account manager for North Island corporate clients. She has had 10 years in the computer industry and was working in Christchurch.

Actuary John Errington has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Actuarial Services. He is a past president of the Society of Actuaries, a past president of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Institute of Directors. Mr Errington has held senior management positions in the actuarial consultancy and insurance industry. Charles Cahn has also joined the practice. He has held a number of senior executive positions in the actuarial consultancy and insurance industry.

Garth Partridge has been appointed solutions marketing manager for Compaq Computer New Zealand's enterprise and services group. Formerly a business partner manager with the company's commercial personal computing group, Mr Partridge will be responsible for liaising with third parties working with Compaq to provide enterprise-level solutions. This will include managing strategic relationships with Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and software developers in the Compaq Solutions Alliance.

Publicis Communications has named Kay Boyle as managing partner for Mojo Auckland. She has worked for more than 20 years in the advertising industry, most recently as general manager of the Mojo offices in Auckland and Sydney. Mark Copplestone has taken over from Tom Davidson as general manager of Optimedia Auckland. He was previously head of buying. Mr Davidson will retain a strategic presence with key New Zealand clients while taking up a regional role based in Melbourne.

Juliet Van Oirschot is the new human relations manager at the Sheraton Auckland Hotel and Towers. She has lengthy experience with the hotel and previously worked in finance, hospitality and human resources for the Sheraton in Rotorua and Fletcher Challenge Steel and Wire. She recently completed a diploma in management from the University of Auckland.

Carlton Hotel, the country's largest five-star hotel, has appointed Brian Moore as general manager. Mr Moore has had a variety of general manager and corporate positions with CDL Hotels. His last job was as general manager of the Quality Hotel Logan Park and director of hotel development. Mr Moore is a fellow of the Hotel and Catering International Management Association and a former director of the Hotel and Catering Industry Training Board. Joining the Carlton Group as area director of sales and marketing is Graeme Hodge, who will be responsible for group's five properties in Australia and New Zealand. He will be based at the Carlton Crest Hotel in Sydney.

Kirstin Poole is the new administration manager for Orlando Wyndham, working with general manager Paul Treacher. She has just completed a graduate diploma in wine business at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. Previously she practised as a finance lawyer in Wellington and London.

Company accountant Craig Stevenson has been appointed general manager of the Taradale group of companies. Mr Stevenson filled various financial and management accounting roles at the Chelsea Sugar Refinery for nine years before joining Taradale Properties in 1994. Taradale Properties is the largest condominium developer in New Zealand.
