THE marketing communications manager at Clear Communications, Ross Inglis, has been promoted to public affairs manager. Mr Inglis joined the company two years ago and has been in journalism, radio and public relations.
THE nurse adviser at Auckland Hospital, Mia Carroll, has been made director of nursing and midwifery for Auckland Healthcare. She has been more than 20 years in nursing and senior management, including positions as senior staff nurse and charge nurse in intensive care and cardio-thoracic units in New Zealand, Canada, Australia and England. She is a former lecturer in nursing at Unitec and has regularly presented papers on nursing topics at major nursing conferences here and overseas.
FORMER Business Herald reporter Mark Reynolds is the new public affairs consultant with American Express International (NZ) Inc, where he will manage media relations and consumer communications programmes, and employee information strategies. Mr Reynolds has had 13 years in financial and economic journalism. As well as working with the New Zealand Herald, he worked for New York-based Dow Jones News Services where he held a number of roles, including chief Middle East correspondent and chief New Zealand correspondent.
