A woman suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a vehicle on Karangahape Rd this morning.
Police said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the vicinity of Howe St.
Police were notified of the crash at 9.50am.
A worker who was at the scene after the crash said it appeared the pedestrian was struck crossing the road at the Howe St and Karangahape Rd intersection.
"It looks like someone crossing the top of Howe St was hit by a blue Holden Commodore that was doing a left turn from K' Rd into Howe St."
