A female pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Drury, south Auckland, this evening.
Police said they were speaking to the driver of the car, which stopped after the accident on Karaka Rd.
Emergency services were still at the scene and diversions were in place on Karaka Rd and MacPherson Rd to the south and Karaka Rd and Great South Rd to the north.
