A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Tawa this morning.
The person was crossing Main Rd north of Victory Cresent in Tawa at 8.40am when they were hit by a car which did not stop, and continued driving northbound.
Police are seeking witnesses of the car, believed to be a gold-coloured Daihatsu Charade, and anyone who was in the area at the time who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
