A pedestrian has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after being struck by a car in Auckland.
Police and other emergency services attended the crash on Great North Rd at 4.30pm today.
A police spokesperson said a car collided with a pedestrian between Larch Rd and Portage Rd.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating and the road may be blocked while police are still at the scene.
