A pedestrian is in a serious condition after being hit by a car in central Auckland.
Police were called to the incident on Howe St, between Hayden St and Beresford St Central, about 1.45pm.
A police spokeswoman said the pedestrian was in a serious condition and had been taken to hospital.
She described the incident as having occurred in a carpark.
