A male pedestrian has died after being hit by a truck on Tarawera Rd in Rotorua about 11.30am today.
The road was closed for about three hours and has now reopened.
Police said the incident would be investigated by the Serious Crash Unit and the Commercial Vehicle Investigation Unit.
