PCL announces board changes

People on the move

* Rick Bettle and Richard Punter have joined the board of PCL Industries Ltd.

Mr Bettle is a former chief executive of law firm Kensington Swan and the Southland meat processor Alliance Group Ltd.

He was group general manager commercial of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company Ltd and has also worked with Wrightson NMA.

He was founding chairman of Pastoral Foods Ltd.

Mr Punter has held senior executive positions with New Zealand Dairy Foods Ltd, Taubmans International Paints, Oasis Industries and Bristol Myers, and is a director of Alfred Holt and Co Ltd.

* Henry Song is joining Power Corruption Control Ltd as its principal design engineer, electrical and electronic.

He has worked in electrotechnology research and development for 15 years and has held design engineering positions with a number of companies.

Most recently he was managing director of Summit Technology.

* Protecta Insurance Ltd has named Wayne Croad as national sales and marketing manager.

He has a background in the motor vehicle industry and finance, and was dealership manager of Stevens' Ford in Lower Hutt.
