KEY POINTS:
People will this Sunday get their first opportunity to look at the rebirth of Fred and Myrtle's Paua Shell House.
Canterbury Museum is recreating an exact replica of the iconic paua shell lounge which featured in Bluff's famous paua shell home owned by the late Mr and Mrs Flutey.
The Museum has a 10-year loan of the shells and while construction of the lounge gets underway, people are invited to go along and take a behind the scenes peek at the exhibition taking shape.
The sneak peek tours will take place from 2.30 every Sunday in May before the exhibition itself opens early in July.
