People will be able to rate their stays in public hospitals, when a new ranking system comes into force next year.
Health Minister Tony Ryall is working on the project, which will be similar to a system used in the UK.
He says patients will be able to score hospitals on the quality of emergency departments and inpatient wards.
They'll also be able to report their reactions to the food, staff and beds.
Mr Ryall says he expects staff will welcome the opportunity to receive feedback from patients.
