Jurors watched video footage of Pastor Luke Lee trying to revive the decomposing body of Joanna Lee by singing and blowing into her face.
The footage, showed Ms Lee's blackening body lying on a mattress, her torso covered with a white sheet and her hair cut to within 2cm of her scalp. It was taken over the days following Ms Lee's exorcism.
Jurors saw followers of Lee's Lord of All's Church moving Ms Lee's fingers and toes. A second videotape showed the followers kneeling and praying around Ms Lee's body, singing along to a guitar.
Yong Bum Lee (also known as Luke Lee), a 38-year-old Korean pastor, is before the High Court at Auckland charged with the manslaughter of Ms Lee during an aggressive exorcism on December 9 last year at his Mt Roskill home.
Lee appeared in the video footage shown yesterday leaning over Ms Lee singing and repeatedly blowing hard into her face.
Earlier, jurors watched a video of an interview between Detective Richard Kapa and Lee made on December 30 last year.
During the interview, Lee said he founded the Lord of All's Church about 18 months before Ms Lee's exorcism. The church had between 30 and 50 members.
Lee demonstrated to Detective Kapa a roaring sound made during the "deliverance" ceremony performed on Ms Lee.
Asked to explain the noise, Lee said, "Jesus is the lion of the tribe. When he roars, the demons go away."
Detective Kapa asked if Lee thought he had a demon inside him, to which Lee said: "Probably".
Lee also produced a whistle in the video, which he said was a "spiritual weapon" to rid people of evil spirits.
Lee said he did not know to ring the police or a hospital because he was waiting to bring Ms Lee back.
Asked if he thought Ms Lee was dead on Saturday, December 9, Lee said he was "not sure".
Ms Lee had suffered problems, including the divorce of her parents, a number of suicide attempts, and a skin condition.
She had arrived in New Zealand with several demons inside her, but had one demon from South Korea left inside her at the time of the exorcism, Lee said in the interview.
During the exorcism, Lee said, he heard the South Korean demon say, "I'm not going out from her until I kill her." Everybody in the room heard the demon speak, Lee said.
He could not remember whose hands were underneath his when he performed the deliverance on Ms Lee, but said he did not push on her body "very much".
He did not remember touching Ms Lee's throat.
Asked who killed Ms Lee, he replied "I believe God knows. Only God knows."
Asked if he wanted to say anything else, he told Detective Kapa, "Believe in Christ and you'll be saved."
